SOAP is a method of hearing God through the Bible as taught by Crossroads Church.  After reading a selection of Scripture:

S – Scripture:  Write one verse that stood out to you.

O – Observation:  Write what you see in the verse and the surrounding section.

A – Application:  Write how you sense God wants you to apply this verse to your  life.

P – Prayer:  Write a short prayer of response asking God to help you do what he just showed you.
